Jimi Hendrix’s cousin is to play in Hull as part of a US super group.

Regi Hendrix, who is a left handed guitarist like his late cousin Jimi, is to play a trio of gigs in the region after befriending Hull singer Trish Willerton while she was on holiday in the US.

Also joining the band will be Don Mancuso, who is a guitarist in Foreigner singer Lou Gramm’s band.

The three will play three evenings of classic rock at O’Rileys, Beverley Road, on Friday, October 7, Hull and East Riding Sports Club, Chanterlands Avenue, on Saturday, October 8, and The Sun, Skirlaugh, on Friday, October 14.
